Dustin Cornwell will fill the Director of Full-Time MBA Admissions role formerly held by Patti Cudney. He will have responsibility for full-time MBA admissions, and also support MSA admissions with Greg Sommers and MSF admissions with Rex Thompson.
Dustin is an experienced admissions professional with an MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School, where he served as Director of MBA Admissions for four years. Subsequently, he was Director of Admissions and Recruiting at DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School and is currently the MBA Program Director and Admissions Director at the University of St. Thomas' Opus College of Business.
In early May, Cox MBA and BBA alum John Roeder will become Assistant Dean for Graduate Admissions. John currently serves as Director of Admissions at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.
In addition to his eight and a half years of MBA admissions experience at the Owen School, and prior to his Cox MBA, John worked in consulting at Accenture and in undergraduate admissions at SMU. John will provide strategic leadership for admissions of all SMU Cox graduate programs except the Executive MBA program.
